It's over.

Finally! We closed on the house today. 3:00 PM to be exact. At the very end of this humongous mess or problems, everything really came together. And miraculously, we got a fantastic interest rate of 5%. Our payments are lower than expected and that makes us happier than ever. Also, we spent less at closing which enabled us to go ahead and purchase a couch for the living room. It'll be picked up on Sunday.

This weekend we're painting and getting things ready for moving day. Next weekend we'll actually be moving our stuff in and FINALLY sleeping in our new home.

When we walked in the house tonight, it felt like home. I can't wait to be there, just me, Chris, and Taco living happily ever after.
