A list.

Things I cannot talk to most of my friends about:

1. Gardening
2. Baseball
3. Babies

I literally see the disinterest on their faces when I accidentally say something about my onion bulbs, Escobar, or Clomid. Then we go back to talking about what show they went to.

Ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-changes!

After careful consideration and taking a hard, realistic look at my school situation, I've decided to switch programs.

I have been taking all my prerequisites for admissions into the Radiology Tech program, but now I'll be switching over to the Surgical Tech program.

I know no one really cares about why or how or whatever so I won't explain. I'm just lucky that all of the classes I've taken so far were also prerequisites for the Surgical Tech program as well.

Now I just have 3 more classes over the next 2 quarters and the HOBET and that's it. Oh, and an admissions essay too.

Anyway, I've been emailing with the head of the department to get some straight answers on admission deadlines and everything. I've been getting conflicting information.

I'll be making a trip up to the school on my lunch break today to drop my A&P class and officially switch programs. And that means that I have this quarter off. It'll be nice to not worry about homework for a few months.

Oh, and I'm totally posting a picture of our yard soon. We got sod!

I'm old.

I think I'm officially old. I've become fascinated with flowers, bushes, and trees. I find myself looking in my neighbors yards at their landscape and wondering what everything is and where I could put it in my yard so it'll look nice.

Never in a million years did I ever think I'd be interested in such a thing.

So far, these are the the bushes and trees I want in my yard.

Burning Bush (Would look great in the back corner of the yard.)

Cherry Tree (Such a pretty, bright purple!)

Hydrangea (A classic.)

Forsythia (LOVE the yellow.)

Ok, obviously I like bright colors. Now I just need the money to buy these and the know-how to keep them alive....

Things I'm doing instead of homework:

1. Trying to sell things on Craigslist.
2. Eating Doritos.
3. Catching up on the TV show Trust Me.
4. Staining my new jewelry box blue.
5. Anything else that I can come up with that isn't homework.

I'm too boring for an April fools joke.

Yesterday was the first day of my A&P class. We were supposed to just have lecture from 5:30 to 7:50, but my wonderful teacher wasn't decided on lab days so he just figured on the fly to make lab right after lecture of that day, instead of Thursday like it was supposed to be. Nothing special there, it just sucked because I didn't eat dinner or anything. I did, however, get a pretty decent lab partner with a kick ass name (Sloan, which really is her first name).

The first day of class was boring and crappy and I know I'm going to have to spend sooooo much time studying. He said 40% of us would drop the class within the first week. Awesome. I paid $250 for these books. I'm not dropping anything.

I have the office all set up and ready to go at home, yet I can't make myself do any actual studying when I keep thinking of a billion other things I want to get done before my housewarming/birthday party on Saturday. I didn't even go to work today to get stuff done and things just keep getting added to the list.

Our house looks like a lived in house though, with pictures and curtains hung. Rooms are color coordinated. (Except the office, but that's because who coordinates their office?)

Now I'm just stalling. I guess I'll go pop in my lecture DVD, then go through the lecture power points, then maybe go over my notes, probably pop in the CD Rom, then move on to the lab manual, maybe my text book after that, and then POSSIBLY get to one of the 2 assignments that are due on Saturday.

I hate school.
